Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information RAIN ("we", "us"), an all-in-one platform including event management and RSVP features, collects when you use the app and its integrations with GoHighLevel and Zoom, how we use it, how it's protected, and how you can contact us about it.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account/installation information. When you connect RAIN to GoHighLevel or Zoom, we receive an OAuth access token and refresh token, and basic account identifiers (such as a location ID, company ID, Zoom user ID, or account email) needed to identify your installation.
- Event and RSVP information. When you create an event, we store the details you enter (name, presenter, date/time, venue, cover photo, etc.). When someone RSVPs to an event, we collect their name, email address, phone number, and answers to the RSVP form (such as who invited them).
- Webinar information. For events held online, we store the Zoom webinar ID and join link associated with that event, and register RSVP'd attendees as webinar registrants.
- Standard technical data. Like most web applications, our servers and hosting provider log basic request information (such as IP address and timestamps) for security and troubleshooting purposes.
How we use this information
We use the information above to operate the application's core features: creating and managing events, processing RSVPs, syncing contacts and appointments with GoHighLevel, and creating/managing Zoom webinars and registrants for online events. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
Information is shared only with the third-party services you've connected RAIN to — GoHighLevel and Zoom — as needed to provide the features described above. We do not share personal information with any other third party.
Data security
OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256) before being stored in our database. Our database runs on a managed PostgreSQL instance with encrypted storage, and all traffic to our application is encrypted in transit (TLS). Other application data (such as event and RSVP details) is stored in that same database.
Data retention
We retain event, RSVP, and integration data for as long as your account/installation is active and the associated event records exist, or until you ask us to delete it. Disconnecting an integration (GoHighLevel or Zoom) revokes our ability to access that service on your behalf; it does not automatically delete previously stored event or RSVP data.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by contacting us at the email below. We'll respond to your request as soon as we reasonably can.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
