RAIN + Zoom Integration Guide
This guide covers how to add, use, and remove RAIN's Zoom integration. RAIN uses Zoom to automatically create webinars for your online events and register RSVPs as webinar attendees.
Adding the app
- From your RAIN account, go to Settings › Integrations and click Connect Zoom.
- You'll be redirected to Zoom to sign in (if needed) and review the permissions RAIN is requesting — basic account info and webinar access.
- Click Allow to approve the connection. You'll be redirected back to RAIN, and your Zoom account will show as connected.
Using the app
- When creating or editing an event in RAIN, set its location type to Online. RAIN automatically creates a matching Zoom webinar using the event's title, date, and time.
- The webinar's join link is shown on the event's page in RAIN, and on the event's public landing page.
- When someone RSVPs to an online event, RAIN registers them as a Zoom webinar attendee automatically — they receive their own personal join link directly from Zoom.
- If you edit an online event's date, time, or details afterward, RAIN updates the same Zoom webinar rather than creating a new one.
Removing the app
- In RAIN, go to Settings › Integrations and click Disconnect next to Zoom.
- Alternatively, remove the app directly from your Zoom account under Zoom App Marketplace › Manage › Installed Apps.
- Disconnecting revokes RAIN's access to your Zoom account. Webinars already created in Zoom are not deleted automatically — you can remove them from your Zoom account if you no longer need them.
